[OMPI User] Problem with “orted: command not found”

Hello, I have a problem with Open MPI version 1.10.2. Installed
I have two VMs on both virtual boxes, these are amazing images
Ubuntu 12.04 64bit. Both are exactly the same. accounts, both configure everything exactly the same
I just configured OMPI with –prefix to specify my
installation location, which is always /home/$USER /.openmpi . For
users, the two computers are identical.

On both machines running mpirun on Person the sample programs
work fine, on both machines I added bin, not to mention lib de to the appropriate command paths,
env sent to master and ssh to slave1 returns results:
***@osboxes:~/cloud$ following env | grep PATH
    PATH=/usr/lib/lightdm/lightdm:/usr/local/ sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local/bin:/home/osboxes/. openmpi/bin

  • On both hosts I installed ssh which works, I set up a password, login
    without which it works again,

I have created an NFS folder in which I store the hello_c program from
the examples and therefore place it. The file looks like this way: master slave1

The same two lines are usually placed in /etc/hosts ssh so you can work with them.

    Works on both:
    ***@osboxes:~/cloud$ rechnern -np 1 mpirun./hello_c
    Hello, I’m from world 8 1, MPI (open v1.10.2, offer-you: open MPI
***@osboxes, distribution id: 1.10.2, Repo rev:
    v1.10.1-145-g799148f, Jan 21, 2016, Even 126)

works, just ssh from this command to slave1, master works as

    mpiexec orted command not found

But when you try to run the following payload, you get an error mpirun:
    ***@osboxes:~/cloud$ -np 2 –hostfile hosts ./hello_c
bash : orted: Request not found

Typically this is done like this:

    * does not search for required binaries and/or libraries on
multiple hosts. Please check your main settings and path LD_LIBRARY_PATH
    or OMPI warp –enable-orterun-prefix-by-default

are required (eg on Cray). Finally, check the configure cmd line and consider
using one of the contrib/platform definitions for your system type.

    and system routing requirements).

The same thing happens when I use -host master,slave1 from –hostfile
hosts. I’m running low on ideas, I’ve tried everything I could find on the WIPO
Internet or the FAQ, but nothing seems to work. What am I doing wrong?

Hi, I have maciek, problem with Open MPI 1 plan.10.2.Installed
I have two virtualsThe machines are VirtualBox, both are the same images used in all upcoming versions of Ubuntu. 12.04 64bit.
Both the same have .master accounts, both are set up pretty much the same.
I just configured OMPI with –prefix to point to the installation folder, which is /home/$USER/. openmpi. For
machine users, the two may be identical.
    PATH= /usr /lib/ lightdm/lightdm:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/games:/usr/local/bin:/usr/local /bin:/home/osboxes/.openmpi/bin
On the two hosts I placed where there is ssh running, I have enabled passwordless login which in turn works, 0.191 master slave1
Surprising two lines are placed relative to /etc/hosts to get Ssh working.
It works, just run this command on ssh slave1 expected from master to factory.:
    bash orted: command found

I already had the correct paths to .bashrc:

I can start Slave1’s mpi just fine, so I’m pretty sure they start working. also I exported those paths
in .details to make sure it was there before, but it doesn’t work.
